Mrs. Reinecke's Class Expectations

1.      Arrive to class on time and be in your assigned seat when the bell rings.  Leaving class to go to your locker is not permitted.  You will need to bring the following materials each day:

Blue or black pens
Pencils
Student planner

2.      Respectful behavior and teamwork will be expected at all times.  They are essential for the student success.

·         Be on time and in your seat at the bell

·         Raise your hand and wait to be called upon before speaking

·         Listen when another person is speaking

·         Keep hands, feet and all objects to yourself

·         Remain in your assigned seat unless given permission to move

3.      Disrespectful or inappropriate behavior in class will not be tolerated.  Breaking the rules will result in the following consequences:

·         1st time:  warning given and name recorded

·         2nd time:  15 minute classroom detention

·         3rd time:  30 minute classroom detention, office referral and  parents notified

·         severe misbehavior:  immediate office referral

4.      In order to receive full credit for homework it must meet the following requirements:

·         The work is handed in on time - usually the day after it is given

·         Both the questions and the answers must be written out in full

·         If handwritten in your notebook, the title of the assignment must be clearly labeled at the top of a new page

·         If typed on a sheet of paper, the heading must include your name, class and date as well as the assignment title and the page is stuck firmly into your notebook.

5.      All work missed due to absence or other school activities must be made up otherwise your grade will be affected.  A reasonable amount of time is allowed for making up work missed due to illness (see school planner).  If you are in school but miss a class due to extra activities, you must see me that same day to turn in homework and to find out what other assignments you missed.
