"World Culture" WebQuest
This Quest will help you “virtually” visit another world culture.  You will be expected to understand the population distributions of a country, as well as the cool places to visit in that country.

"MapQuest"
WebQuest
The town of Metroville has just been given a gift.  A beautiful large piece of land by a very wealthy family.  Their only requirement is that Metroville must use this land to build a public park for all of the town's residents to enjoy.
Your company has been chosen to design and build this park.  You and your workmates will be responsible for designing this park according to certain specifications.

"Mars... the Next Colony"
WebQuest
You have been assigned a mission.  You and your crewmates are scheduled to fly on the next mission to mars named, “Mars… the Next Colony”.  You and your crew will be the first to explore, feel, breathe and experience Mars and it’s frontier...
However, to truly understand space exploration, you must first begin with land exploration.  What is it and what were the underlying factors that drove Henry Hudson, Samuel de Champlain, Jacques Cartier, Meriwether Lewis, and William Clark on such quests that took them to the vast unknown interior of the United States?

"Digital Documentary"
  To help meet the needs of high ability students, a challenge within the curriculum is created through this project that allows them to synthesize and utilize information in new contexts.  These students are asked to choose a topic, which extends a unit from the classroom curriculum, then research their topics to create a Digital Documentary.  Its objective is to promote and foster interest in science or social studies, and extend their learning.

The students integrate the knowledge they acquire conducting research by combining images, words, voice, and music into a digital format with Audacity and Microsoft Movie Maker applications. The project builds strengths in the areas of research, writing, visual literacy, application, design, and synthesis for the purposes of differentiation.

"Immigration Quest"
WebQuest
You are about to embark on a very exciting quest! A suitcase filled with artifacts was discovered and brought to the Ellis Island Immigration Museum.  Four lives, intertwined, will never be the same;

Ø   The immigrant, who packed and traveled with that suitcase.
Ø   The immigrant’s family member who was left behind.
Ø   The archeologist, who now has to investigate who the suitcase belongs to, and when and why did the immigrant pass through Ellis Island.
Ø The immigration officer, who met the immigrant and hundreds like her/him on Ellis Island (or other customs facility).
